Circle of Support

The CareStar Indiana, LLC has adopted an ethical framework known as the "Circle of Support." The “Circle of Support” is meant to help guide all employees, case managers, administrators and friends of the program in their decision making and the way they live their lives supporting others. The Circle of Support has been put in place to help push our employees decision making and help our consumers in the following ways:
 
Personal Life
Case managers evaluate services to assure that consumer’s personal interests, beliefs and values are being met.

Health
Doctors and nurses help consumers stay healthy by monitoring medication, nutrition and exercises.

Family Life
Foster families adopt consumers as one of their own and include them in daily routines and household activities.

Social Life
Communities offer opportunities to make new friends, join groups and participate in neighborhood events and activities.

Protection
Advocates manage and protect rights under state laws and contracts ensuring privacy and integrity is kept safe.
